I was excited to photograph this wedding for two main reasons.
One, I had just photographed Emily’s sister’s wedding last year and now I was going to photograph Emily’s. And two, I knew Emily’s sister Chelsee was going to be designing this wedding and she does such an awesome job (she designed her own wedding!).

I’ve always had fun any time I have photographed Russ, Emily and their little girl Miley.

In Montana, if you plan a spring or summer wedding, it’s always great to have a plan B instead of just winging your plans and having your entire wedding outside. I can say for a fact that it has down-poured at 85% of my weddings no matter what state they were in.
This was the case for Emily and Russ’s wedding but fortunately the rain passed right before the ceremony and the couple was blessed with the most gorgeous evening any couple could ask for.
I love photographing weddings and engagements at the Jumping Horse Show Barn. There is always so much to work with and the view of the mountains is just fantastic!

Emily and Russ, I hope you two and our little girl have many many happy years ahead of you! Thank you for asking me to photograph your wedding! 🙂
