A couple months ago my friend Melissa (of MKate Photography)called and wanted to schedule a portrait session with me. Now, you can imagine how nervous I felt when such a great photographer was asking to have me photograph her!  What if I screwed up the photos? What if the photos didn’t turn out or what if she doesn’t like them? I shrugged it off and just shook my head at how silly these thoughts were! We decided on a trade to make the session a little more fun, so she would be photographing me as well.

With hair and makeup done we met up at the M&B Auto junk yard here in Ennis. Melissa is such a fun and light hearted person; it was so easy to feel comfortable being photographed by her.

The junk yard is one of my favorite places to photograph here in town. There is so much color and character, it’s hard to not find a great backdrop……unless the horse trailers and old cars are infested with gigantic spiders! haha

We had such a great time being silly and throwing ideas back and forth. It’s always fun photographing with friends!
